 Who are PADI?
PADI is the Professional Association of Diving Instructors the
world's largest diver training agency. Over 60% of the world's divers
learn to dive with PADI. Your diving certification will be
recognised in more places around the world when you learn with us.

schedule!
Why should I do a PADI Course?
- PADI Courses have the highest standards including:
- Excellent
quality training materials in most languages
- Safety standards
that comply with even the most stringent national laws
- Professional
instructors who are required to keep up to date, stay medically fit
to teach and be insured
- Dive Centres and Resorts that provide the
backup services we all need such as air fills, equipment sales,
rental and servicing, boat dives, trips and holidays and many other
extras.
Does that mean I can only dive with
another PADI diver?
Not at all. You can dive with any other qualified diver - just
remember to only dive to the level of the lowest person's qualification or
experience. Although we choose to teach PADI we have divers with
qualifications from many other agencies in our dive club, everyone
is welcome. If you already have a qualification from another
training agency you can join a PADI course next time providing you
meet the pre-requisites.

Project Aware (Aquatic World Awareness
Responsibility and Education)
Is an environmental
charity sponsored by PADI and divers. They sponsor grass roots
projects such as ridding dive sites of plastic bags, funding litter
bins near dive sites, mooring buoy projects and educating people on
ways divers can avoid damaging the underwater environment. It is one
of those rare charities that spends very little on overheads and
manages to use over 85% of donations for the actual cause! The Eau
Zone has just become a Project Aware Dive Centre and are already
turning our dive centre as green as we can as well as organising
events to monitor dive sites, clean up where necessary as well as
raise money for Project Aware.

Emergency First Response is the First
Aid training arm of the PADI family.
EFR training is the best in the business and is available to
anyone whether they dive or not. None of us want to feel helpless
when a medical emergency arises. Becoming an Emergency First
Responder means you will know what to do and how to help. Want to
pass your skills on to others? You can become an EFR Instructor -
you don't have to be an expert just keen to learn a little more,
keep your skills up to date and be enthusiastic about helping
others!

Have you heard the hype about Technical
Diving?
Keen to know more or have a go? DSAT technical Diving Courses
take you beyond the limits of PADI Recreational Diving. Technical
Diving isn't for everyone but if you have the necessary skills and
discipline it can take you to dive sites few others have ever
visited. Click on the logo for all the info.
