PADI Adventure
Program Plus - £495
Not just an Advanced Open Water qualification.
Our program combines the AOW course with the nitrox course and a specialty in
Peak Performance Buoyancy (if you wear a wetsuit) or Drysuit diving. We will
also cover use of reels and DSMBs (Delayed Surface Marker Buoys - essential for
diving in the sea in the UK and many other locations). By the end of the course
you will have completed 3 extra dives, gained loads of extra confidence and
experience and have all the skills and knowledge you need to be a truly
independent diver.
Day 1 - Local dive site near Egham - Max depth
12m.JPG)
Dive 1 - PPB/Drysuit Dive - The first
dive will concentrate on orientating you to new equipment, fine
tuning weighting, practising buoyancy skills and basic dive skills
Dive 2 - PPB/Drysuit Dive - By now
you will be feeling comfortable and can start to fine tune your
buoyancy control, body position and fining technique
Day 2 - Local dive site near Egham
- Max depth 12m
Dive 3 - Underwater Navigation -
Navigation is an essential but often overlooked skill. Mastering
compass and natural navigation techniques contributes to the safety
and enjoyment of all your dives.
Dive 4 - Search and Recovery - A fun
dive using reels and compasses to search for "lost" objects then
sending them to the surface with lift bags.
Day 3 - Stoney Cove,
Leicestershire or NDAC, Chepstow - We will choose the site with the
best conditions at the time. Each site is about a 2 hour drive from
Egham and we normally stay overnight nearby - Max depth 18m
Dive 5 - Nitrox Dive - Planning the
dive, analysing the gas and executing the dive plan. We will venture
into deeper waters and test all the skills you gained on the first
two days!
Dive 6 - Nitrox Dive and DSMB
deployment - Now that you've got the hang of it we will start to
practise ascending on an SMB as we do in the sea.
Day 4 - Same site as Day 3. Max
depth 30m.
Dive 7 - Deep Dive - Now you're ready
for a bit more depth we will do a deeper dive practising the
techniques required to safely descend, dive and ascend from greater
depths.
Dive 8 - Wreck Dive - The last dive
is a fun dive navigating around the outside of a wreck assessing the
overall condition and any areas that should be avoided on future
dives.
